By flowing the paint in the e-coat tank opposite the direction in which the coated workpiece is moving, the flow velocity (relative velocity) on the workpiece surface increases, preventing the adhesion of contaminants.
In addition, the vortex flow at the bottom of the tank collects and discharges the contaminants outside the system.
