Promotion of active female participation

We have the following systems to promote a workplace environment where a diversified workforce can play an active role.

Childcare leave
Employees can take leave up until their child turns three years old.
Reduced work hours system
Employees can reduce their working hours from when they return to work after childbirth or childcare leave until the child completes the third grade of elementary school.
Comments from employees utilizing the system

Interviews with supervisors are held before, during, and after returning from childcare leave, so I can concentrate on raising my child while having a positive image of what I will be like after returning to work.

The shorter working hour system allows me to choose working hours from four hours, so I have a better idea of how I could balance work and childcare in the future.
Since I can decide my working hours after consulting with my supervisor, I can gain understanding from colleagues and feel comfortable using the system.

Aichi Women's Brilliance Company

In addition to actively hiring female employees, we have introduced two systems to support our employees. These include the "job group change system" that allows employees to change from general employment to career-track positions and a "comeback system" that enables employees who left the company due to a spouse's transfer or childcare/nursing care to return to work. In September 2018, we were certified as an Aichi Women's Brilliance Company by Aichi Prefecture as a company that promotes the activities of its female employees.
We will continue to promote initiatives to enable all employees to demonstrate their abilities fully.
